Hamilton walk-a-thon!

Way to go Carolann & Rico the Hamilton-Walk-a-Thon raised over $12,000 for the Brain Injury Association.  Randy and wife Barb flew in from Regina, Rico and his wife Cindy were part of the crew, Larry came down from Collingwood and Walter Gretzky entertained the crowd with signed autographs and a handful of funny jokes.

Volunteers arrived at the break of dawn, tables were set up and registration began.  Pledged walkers signed in and received t-shirts, drink tickets and lunch vouchers to be redeemed at the *&( at the other end.

Inaugural presentations were made the ribbon was cut and the walkers were off!  2-3 hours later walkers received a warm welcome at %^&^&*.  A live band was playing, lunch was being cooked and Walter Gretzky was in good spirits.

I think everyone received a prize thanks to all the great work attributed to the walk committee.

A great day, lots of fun, everyone participated and money was raised for the Brain injury association.

Being the Expert

Prospective customers are attracted by what you have to say and discuss. They will think about how they can use you to create a solution to solve a problem. They are attracted to your expertise and creativity rather than the products you sell. This greatly reduces the sales resistance you may normally encounter.

Something to Think About

The differentiating factor in selling is no longer the product, but the expertise and experience a sales person brings to the table. A statement of expertise establishes your credibility

2004 conference theme is PROFIT!

A for-profit organization exists primarily to generate a profit, that is, to take in more money than it spends.

$$$$$$$

Do we have the vehicle for small business to increase profit?

If so how do we communicate this to our clients.  Please have some thoughts written down for the conference so we can discuss as a group.
